We are looking for a person with the technical aptitude and experience in IT based systems to perform commissioning, service and support infield of our products as a Customer Support Technician. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills and technical experience that may include but is not limited to:
- Computer networking
- Monitoring systems
- Communications and CCTV
- Equipment simulators
- Automated equipment
- Mechanical components
- Training delivery
- Project management
- Time management
What our role requires:
- Field based technical support throughout Africa, Europe and the Middle East (up to 50% travel time – self managed and scheduled)
- Commissioning, maintenance, repair and upgrades to Equipment Simulators that includes:
- Networking local PC’s & other equipment including projectors, motionbase, operator controls and computers as well as troubleshooting errors or connection issues.
- Fault finding (Electronic) to component level.
- Adjustment and fault finding in electromechanical (moving) parts (examples can include: vehicle pedals, joysticks, switches, dials).
- Assembly of component parts, fitting of panels, brackets, ducting, equipment using appropriate tools.
- Hardware, computer and equipment component replacement.
- Software, PC and Server upgrades (or replacement).
- Service equipment such as small Compressors, AC (filter cleaning / replacement) and projectors (replace lamps).
- Remote, phone and email technical support including a 1 in 3 on call roster
- Deliver product training to customers which includes:
- Formal 1 to 3 days product training curriculum.
- Advice and support to improve customer confidence, efficiency and competence in using product functionality.
- Physically active position with regular light to medium manual handling required.
- A product that is designed, manufactured and supported in Australia.
- Full training and support.
- Daily allowance when travelling.
- All tools, equipment and PPE provided.
- Laptop and mobile provided.
- Flexibility in travel scheduling and work schedule (when not on customer sites).
