This well-known landmark is ideally situated in the heart of Pretoria’s CBD, on the corner of Prinsloo and Schoeman Streets, with easy access to all the national roads to and from Pretoria and surrounding areas. The building has been refurbished and converted to an up-market private hospital with superior finishes, facilities and state-of-the-art medical equipment, enabling it to render medical services of world class standard.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • To build and maintain sound relationships with inter alia patients, visitors, the community, and doctors, amicably resolving all customer and client concerns and ensuring that the physical appearance and public service levels of the hospital are consistently presented at superior levels in order to create a Home away from Home” milieu.
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy for the hospital that will assist with the increase of Patient volumes and creates a professional image to the target market and the community.
  • Satisfactory resolve patients’ problem and ensure that the physical image and public service level of the hospital are consistently presented at the superior level.
  • Identify, target and recruit doctors who will complement the medical specialties to be able to offer a broad spectrum of services to patients.
  • Market hospital specialists to general practitioners for referral.
  • Develop comprehensive sound relationships with GPs both independent and in groups such as IPA‘s so as to secure maximum support.
  • Organize CME’s for the benefit of all doctors and staff, inviting guest speakers and arranging sponsorship as required.
  • Researching and reporting on external opportunities.
  • Managing the customer journey (customer relationship management).
  • Ensure Events (Public awareness campaigns, Media, EMS-Events and publicity campaigns and social responsibility project) are planned and executed.
  • Hospital identity and image are aligned with Louis Pasteur corporate brands standards.
  • Manage the public relations and Marketing services budget
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Grade 12.
  • PRO / Marketing diploma or other related qualifications – registration with PRISA is highly recommendable.
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a PRO in the field of service (Public Relations / Marketing) – private hospital industry experience would be advantageous.
  • Previous managerial experience within a Marketing Department would be essential.
  • Fluent in English – knowledge of other languages considered to be preferable.
  •  Computer literacy in all applications of MS Office is recommendable.
  •  Preference will be given to male applicants.
